Russell began his career as a trainee accountant in the finance department at Bury Metropolitan Borough Council.
After four successful years there he moved on and has spent the last 12 years working for major UK banking organisations. For the last five years Russell has worked in a business development role for The Royal Bank of Scotland, operating in a wide range of sectors providing innovative solutions for clients.
Russell joined the Manchester office in 2007 as Business Development Director and made partner in April 2008. Russell brings with him a wealth of experience in the commercial sector. Russell will be responsible for devising and implementing the practice's sales and marketing plan.
Russell is a season ticket holder at Manchester United and when he is not at the theatre he can be found hacking his way around the local golf courses. Other interests include motor racing and walking.
