Clive Gawthorpe joined our Manchester office after spending six years in a similar role at the Bolton branch of a well-known practice with wide coverage in the North West. He completed his Chartered Accountancy and tax training with a firm in Ratcliffe, where he remained for 14 years.
Clive qualified as both a Chartered Accountant (FCA) and a Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) and regularly attends the European Branch of CTA. He has also obtained his corporate finance qualification from the Institute, and is regularly involved in the sale, purchase and restructuring of companies.
Clive has accumulated a very broad experience of all manner of taxation issues and is an expert in personal, business and corporate tax matters. He has a particular interest in Film and TV, the Property sector and international tax issues.
Clive is also an active member of the UHY Hacker Young Property Sector Group.
Outside the office, Clive has two daughters to occupy his attention, but still finds time to watch Bolton Wanderers matches as one of the club's season ticket holders.
